Welcome Autumn with Korea’s Biggest Fireworks Festival
Who doesn’t love Fireworks and who doesn’t love Autumn? And when it comes to a fireworks festival to welcome Autumn, ofcourse that’s gonna be something you would never like to miss. Yes I am talking about Korea’s Biggest Fireworks Festival i.e “Hanwha Seoul International Fireworks Festival”. This festival is so big that every year almost 1 million People gather at Hangan area to view the fireworks shows.
Every year, Hanwha Group invites representative teams from different countries to direct their fireworks and illuminate the sky with colorful explosions.
For this year, 3 teams from USA, ITALY and Korea will participate. The firework show will last for almost an hour and there will be over 100,000 shots that will be fired.
Last year, I arrived at the festival place almost 2 hours ago but to my surprise, it was so crowded that I couldn’t find a best place to watch the fireworks and hardly found a place to sit. Yet, those were one of my best moments I had in Korea and for almost an year, I had been anxiously waiting for this festival and have planned to reach the place almost 3 hours ago to get a good spot.
Apart from fireworks, there will be lots of other activities and performances for public too, among them the famous ones are Food Truck, POW POW street art festival and DJ party. DJ Party will be held after the fireworks show is over.
Here are the dates and directions on how you can go to watch this festiva..
Date and Time: 30th September. Saturday. 17:30 to 20:40
Place: Hangang Park, Yeouido Area
