Among these hundreds of attractions listed on the website, I decided to go for the “Insadong Walking Tour” ???
What is Insadong?
#Insadong is a famous touristic area in Seoul where you can find exquisite antique furniture, sculptures, folk art and crafts.
Insadong is a bustling district that has a long history as a commercial place in Seoul, Korea. It is known to be a spot where the present and the past collide, and a comprehensive list of attractions and events includes things to do in Insadong.
Insadong Course – Seoul Walking Tour
Visitors take this walking tour of the Insadong city, a quaint neighborhood in central Seoul that transports visitors back to a time when women wear hanbok and men rode horses. A walk through Insadong is mandatory for all visitors, with its wooden tea houses, boutique galleries and street vendors selling popular snacks.
The Seoul Walking Tour – Insadong course starts from Tapgol Park where the guide explained in detail with pictures of Seoul in the past and how fast the Jongno area has developed.
Later on you get to see Tongin Store, Ssamzie Gil, Insadong Street, famous Napcheong Bronzware.
Ssamziegil in Insa-dong is a traditional cultural and shopping area. An historic area of Seoul, Insa-dong is renowned for being the most traditional neighborhood in the capital. The main road from Insa-dong is lined with a wide number of antique shops and galleries of folk art.
Ssamziegil is a place that continues the Insa-dong rituals, complemented by new, comfortable facilities. There is also a very famous restaurant “Toilet Restaurant” and if you happen to visit Ssamziegil, don’t forget to visit there.
And the end of this Seoul Walking Tour, you get to Jogyesa Temple and the tour ends at Bosingak Belfry.
