1- Full Tuition Coverage: International students will have their entire tuition fees covered by the scholarship.

2- Monthly Stipend for MS Students: MS students will receive a monthly stipend of 140,000 Won to support their living expenses.

3- Monthly Stipend for PhD Students: PhD students will receive a monthly stipend of 295,000 Won to assist with their financial needs.

4- Meal Allowance: Both MS and PhD students will benefit from a meal allowance of 100,000 Won.

Requirements for GIST Scholarship 2024 Eligibility:

Here are the requirements to be able to apply for the GIST Scholarship 2024 at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology

1. Completed Degree: Applicants must have obtained their final degree before enrolling at GIST.

GIST Scholarship 2024 Application Requirements:

To be considered for the GIST Scholarship, applicants are required to provide the following supporting documents along with their online application. Please note that incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be considered for the scholarship:

1. Online Application: Complete the online application form.
2. Official Degrees and Transcripts: Submit official copies of your degrees and transcripts. Preferably, these documents should have an Apostille, but notarized copies are also acceptable.
3. Letters of Recommendation: Include two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your qualifications. These letters should bear the official stamp and signature of the recommenders.
4. Copy of Passport: Provide a copy of your passport as a form of identification.
5. Official English Language Proficiency Test Report: Include an official English language test report. Acceptable tests and minimum score requirements are as follows:
   • TOEFL (BT): 80
   • TOEFL (PBT): 550
   • IELTS: 6.5
   • TOEIC: 750
   • NEW TEPS: 327
6. Alternative English Proficiency Certificate: In case you are unable to obtain your official test result in time, you can request your home university to provide a professional certificate confirming your English language proficiency. This certificate should clearly state that English was the language of instruction at your previous university.
