BTS Jimin recently took to Weverse to share an update on his military training and overall status, along with his bandmate Jungkook. He posted a handwritten letter a day before his graduation ceremony from recruit training, symbolizing the conclusion of five weeks of intensive training. After the ceremony, Jimin and Jungkook are set to serve at an army camp during their military service.

ARMYs, are you all healthy and doing well?
Tomorrow, I will be completing my training period at the training camp. It’s been slightly more than a month and sometimes it feels like time is passing very slowly, and sometimes, since I have Jungkookie by my side, it feels like time is going by quite fast.
It hasn’t been that long, but I already miss you so very much. I’m spending my time, often calling the members through the payphone to ask how they’re doing, and Jungkookie is also spending his time here, working really hard at his military duties. He’s doing so well at training, all the other guys are like “Yeah, that’s Jungkookie hyung”. Because he’s by my side, it’s giving me a lot of support and strength.

Jimin letter from army has melted the fans hearts. Fans of BTS have received heartening news as both Jimin and Jungkook have commenced their military service simultaneously. Presently undergoing basic training, the duo will soon embark on their official duties. They are set to share accommodations at the military base camp. Jimin and Jungkook are supposed to commence their mandatory military service on January 18th. A report from Ten Asia on January 16th revealed that they will be joining the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi. Notably, Jin, another member of BTS, is already serving in the same division as an assistant instructor at the recruit training center.
