An Ajumma near my campus – One of the Kindest person I have ever met
I have been to many countries and no matter where ever I go, I meet amazing people, people helping me out, picking me up, hanging out.. But honestly saying, Korean people are one of the kindest people I have ever met. If you haven’t been to Korea yet, you would love to come to visit this beautiful country just to see how kind human beings can be.
I have recently moved to Yongin, a small city and doing my Masters at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Yongin Campus. Unlike Seoul, you can’t find Arab or Indian restaurants around here, so I ended up cooking by myself (although you wouldn’t like to try the food I cook 😀 You can’t actually! 😀 )
There is is Ajumma (old lady) near my campus who runs a grocery store and a restaurant. Everytime I visit her shop, she greets me very cheerfully and always offers me something to eat or drink. She even once said, ‘I know you are far away from your parents, let me know if you need help with the money’ 🙂 Omg, she is so nice.
Due to exams, I couldn’t meet her for a week and today when I visited her, she was so happy. We talked a lot, about Korean culture, winter precautions, Pakistani culture and almost about everything. And then she made me come to her restaurant and made me eat this delicious Bulgogi 🙂
Until today, Jjimdak used to be my favorite Korean food but after eating Ajumma’s Bulgogi, its my favorite Korean food now 🙂 Trust me it was finger licking delicious.
Ajumma might not be reading this blog post but she is one of the reasons of my happy life here in Korea. Ajumma you are awesome! ???? ??? 🙂
