2017 Coffee and Christmas Festival
My favorite English alphabet is ‘C’ as two of the most beautiful things in the world start with it – “Christmas” and “Coffee” 🙂 It’s that time of the year when #HolidaySeason is around the corner, winter has come and everyone is anxiously waiting for the Christmas while smelling the sweet and rich aroma of coffee. If you are also waiting for the Christmas, this festival would definitely be one of the best things for you this whole year i.e “2017 Coffee and Christmas Festival “
No doubt 2017 is about to end, but since ‘all is well that ends well’ – you can have a wonderful 2017 if you have a fantastic December, and Daegu offers you a chance to make some unforgettable memories of lifetime this last month of 2017. If you have never been to Daegu, trust me, this is the perfect time to visit this vibrant city as Daegu is hosting “2017 Christmas and Coffee Festival” – one of the biggest coffee festival in Korea.

“2017 Christmas and Coffee Festival” has 3 basic themes:
a) Daegu is Fun ( ??? ????)
In order to celebrate Christmas, you can see various activities and events especially in downtown and Dongseongno street. This year’s biggest Christmas tree in Daegu has already attracting lots of travelers across the country and it’s a must thing to see.
b) Daegu is Pleasant (??? ???)
Another great thing to see in Daegu this December are the mini concerts that will be taking place in both Kim Kwang Seok Street and Dongseongno street which is the mecca of fun activities. Throughout this cold month, young people will find the heat and passion in both these areas. Check out this article to know more about Kim Kwang Seok Street.
c) Daegu is Aromatic (??? ????)
They say, coffee is a liquid hug to the brain. Everything gets better with coffee – going to work, working, not working, reading, dating, watching a movie. In short, if music is the food to soul, coffee is the ‘energy drink’ to it 🙂 And if you are a coffee lover, Daegu welcomes you to its 7th Annual Coffee Week starting from December 7th to December 10th. This is the perfect opportunity for you to learn about coffee, try coffee from the world class brands, and learn the tricks to make a great coffee.
There will be 76 coffee shops that will showcase their coffee and drinks, and along side this, there will be 4 different contests going on.
i) 2017 Daegu Coffee Roasting Championship
ii) 2017 Korea Student Barista Championship
iii) 2017 World Coffee Cocktail Championship
iv) 2017 World Hand Drip Championship
